After reading Julia Evans post about Celebrateing tiny learning milestones I started thinking about how bad I am at celebrating tiny milestones. Im actually not that good at celebrating big milestones either... Probably due to the fact that when a milestone is reached it dosen't feel that interesting anymore.
But sometimes it's good to pat yourself on the back and realise that what you wanted to do 4-5 years ago might be something you have succesfully achived. Here are three things I wanted to achive and did:
- Work at a great SaaS company that uses Python
- Contribute to a big open source project which I use daily
- Start writing a blog
